Event Application

01. Project Info

The Challenge: 

People who go to concerts and other events need a platform to find activities that provide information that will help them make the right choice. A user wants to make sure they have enough information regarding the event they are going to be able to tell that they are going to have a good time. They also have the desire to share this information with friends that might want to go as well.

My goal is to create a <platform> where you can receive notifications about concerts, tag friends to invite them, share pics, get detailed venue information, and create a better concert-going experience.

02. The Story

Discovery: Research & Analysis Research Goals: 

1. I want to learn what resources people use to find out about events and how they share information with friends.

2. I want to find out what the pain points are in their journey as well as the things that make them happy in their experience. 

03. Our Process

After the Semi-Structured Interview and Online Survey were completed I created a Affinity Diagram. I used information from my interview to collect notes about user motivation, needs, and behaviors.

I was then able to pull together Product Proposition and create a series of Themes and Opportunities. By refining the user data, I came up with some possible features for the application. 

This was followed by Paper Sketches and finally Low to Medium fidelity mockups in Figma. Following on to Usability testing I made changes to improve accessibility and create High Fidelity clickable prototypes for further testing


Idea & Concept

To produce an Event app that could focus on messaging and concert details to provide a better concert-going experience.



Starting with paper sketches and moving on to lo-mid fidelity and finally clickable high-fidelity prototypes.


Testing & Support

User testing involved Zoom and Lookback testing to see how well the user could navigate and give crucial information for further iterations.
